Open-Source Digital Mapping and Visualization Workshop

Have how even wondered how applications like Yik-Yak or Tinder find your location; what systems make Google Maps possible; or wondered how you might develop your own geographic information system (GIS) overlays?

Join Justin Freiler M.S. (Program Coordinator, VizCenter@SDSU) and AITP@SDSU for a full-day event covering open-source digital mapping and visualization topics. Free for all students!

The event will be held in the VizCenter@SDSU, Chemical Sciences Laboratory (CSL-120), Wednesday, April 8th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The cost is free and open to all currently enrolled SDSU students. Space is limited to the first 55 students who register.
